Baroque Arielby ~AMR-Designs

A "historically accurate" gown inspired by "The Little Mermaid" 's Ariel. I would have done a pink gown.. but seriously... A pink dress with red hair? What were they thinking?!

So.. instead I drew inspiration from her "riding dress".

Ariel's hair and dress do not clash. Everyone acts like she's wearin gsome form of barbie pink. It's a lovely tone for her and I like it.

It depends heavily on the dress design I'll admit her dress design is a big O_O poofy. BUT the overall pink doesn't look bad in the right design.

But yes to each her own.

I like it. Ariel needs to wear more blue. Oh, and I like your idea of where the movie takes place. They do make a couple of good french references on there, don't they?

Thank you so much! And yeah I guess they do, as far as the French chef, French sailor uniforms, etc. My friend and I only made this assumption after watching the movie like.. 5 times in one weekend because we were at a country home, and it was rainy and muddy so we couldn't do much. We have so many inside jokes about the movie now! x]

lol even as a 5 year old kid i was like really, red hair and a pink dress? And i always liked this blue dress they had for her, and i like what you did with it here. The white lace looks really pretty
